For Piper’s 3rd birthday party we had a purple princess party. One of my favorite parts was the DIY crown bar. Inspired by the ever fabulous Bri of Design Love Fest, and her DIY crown post here, I decided to make a station for guests to decorate their own crowns to wear during the princess party. I followed Bri’s directions pretty closely, and purchased some gold poster board (WARNING it was $5/sheet at Hobby Lobby which yielded 5 crowns). I added to those 5 with some pre-cut silver crowns. Then I bought a huge tub of giant gems for around$10, and adhered some double sided tape to each for easy assembly.
These were so much fun, and a great activity for the kids. They double as a party favor as well!
