When I first spotted Shayna Kulik’s wedding reception in the latest issue of Rue Magazine I was blown away. The wedding was shot by the brilliant Moss and Isaac, who sent over these fabulous shots of the event.
I think what first captured my attention was the uniqueness of this wedding. The subdued, yet undeniably chic, and irresistably whimsical vibe is so amazing and so obviously a true reflection of the couple themselves.
My favorite part of this wedding is Shayna and Justin’s vision of having the guests be active participants in the festivities. I have always been a huge fan of interactive entertaining, and this wedding reception captures this perfectly. Providing guests with activity cards, suggesting they check off each activity as they complete it! The activities included a very modern looking s’mores bar, a photo booth, and my favorite, have your picture painted by the very talented watercolor artist Erin Fagerland.
The bold patterns, and chic black and white color scheme is so fabulous and so now! Shayna is the talented designer behind Pattern Pulp, and the bold and graphic vibe was a direct reflection of the couple. Thank you so much Moss and Isaac for sharing this peek into a fabulous and unique wedding reception. It is so refreshing to see something different and seeing the couple’s personalities shining through.
