One thing I took away from the alt summit twitter stream was to be honest and personal on your blog, so here it goes. I fell down the stairs yesterday with my baby girl in my arms and her femur broke. I cannot tell you how my heart breaks right now. On Saturday she also started to say “mama”, so between her crying and saying mama you can imagine the emotions. Sorry for my lack of posts, but I know you guys will understand. The Dr. said she will be fine, no surgery needed or any growth problems, it was a hairline fracture. I am just very shaken up. So here is a picture of Piper’s pink cast, yes its pink of course!
