I am delighted to share with you this fabulous news. The infamous and much adored Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings has launched a site to showcase her insanely talented Stylist talent, Summer Watkins.com. I have been a loyal Grey Likes Weddings reader since the beginning so when Summer leaked the news that a big change is coming to the Grey Likes world under the name House of Grey I was so excited. Stay tuned for more details on House of Grey. And for now, check out Summer’s fab new site.
I have long since wondered where the name “Grey” came from and when Summer shared in her candid, sweet and funny way the story, it was so perfect I had to share! ” I was up past midnight one evening two years ago determined to register some sort of url and get a blog started. I was on the phone with my brother-in-law (Trever Hoehne) who oozes creativity and we were going back and forth with weirdo names. He suggested, how about “Grey Likes Weddings?” Grey is the name of his cat! But I thought it was so cute, so I registered the name right then and there. It kinda grew on me and eventually stuck. I essentially took on the pen name Grey and most peoplethat email me address their notes to Grey, which I love. Ultimately though, I’m named after a cat. How did that happen?”
