I had so much fun planning Piper’s 5th birthday party. It was a welcome departure from the typical frozen/princess theme. I was super surprised actually that she asked for a superhero party, my tutu loving, girly girl, but it turned out so perfect and still so Piper. The color palette we chose together was gold and black. The invitations were gold foil on black heavy card stock and I had a lot of fun with the signage, superhero transformation station anyone?
The transformation station held custom made capes & masks for guests to adorn as they walked in the door. These were a huge hit with the kids! The capes are reversible FYI!!
I created a fun kids table adorned with custom made coloring books for the kids. I scattered little fun toys and confetti along the kraft runner. These fun little gifts along with the capes & masks were a great alternative to a goodie bag filled with candy. I made yogurt pops in a variety of shapes and flavors for a fun sweet treat. These were a huge hit with the kids and adults alike. I will be sharing the recipe shortly…
The hubby and I got into the spirit of things….such a great time. For more fun details on the party check out our feature over on the fabulous Grey Likes Baby!
