I am currently working on some custom invitations for the most fabulous couple and a dear friend of mine. This is so much fun because this couple is so fun, free spirited, creative and just too cute for words! Courtney, the bride, has a background in wedding flowers, so being in the industry always makes it for a fun project. You will find below the beginnings of my inspiration collection I am putting together for their invitations.
Courtney, a southern California native met her Aussie fiance, and moved to Australia. So we definitely have some fun things to work with blending the two locales. The wedding will take place at one of my favorite southern California hotels, The Parker in Palm Springs. There are also a lot of fun icons and imagery we will be incorporating as they have sentimental value to the couple, including feathers, hibiscus and poppies. I just love these funky shoes with yellow feather details shot by Mike Larson, via Style Me Pretty. And this shot with these fabulous gold shoes atop the iconic love chair is fab, via Style Me Pretty. The ceremony is going to take a more classic, whites and neutral tone before getting crazy and colorful with the cocktail hour and reception. I just adore this shot by Aaron Delesie! These fabulous Parker shots of the most perfect guest bag and the groom in sneakers are so fun! And of course you can’t forget the perfect hair accessory by the amazing Twigs and Honey complete with feather details! Perfect!

This poppy cake creation by Let them Eat Cake is absolutely amazing, via Style Me Pretty. These paper flowers from etsy are the perfect detail. And lastly this colorful, fun, goofy, and completely gorgeous inspiration to reality shoot by Red Ribbon Studio is darling. The candy, the mustache, the colors, it’s all so totally Courtney!
